State Bank of Cross, 108 N. Main Street, is sponsoring over 2,380 students and teachers at 10 schools in Green, Dane and Rock counties to provide access to a financial literacy program, according to a Feb. 5 news release.
Those students and teachers will have free access to Banzai, an online financial literacy program, budgeting simulator and content library of articles, coaches and calculators. The resources are available to students at home or in the classroom through any device that can access the internet.
“Banzai is a web-based financial literacy program. Kids get their own accounts, and they work through assignments that are based on real life,” Banzai co-founder Morgan Vandagriff said in the news release. “More than ever, it’s important that kids develop sound financial skills to pre- pare them for the real world, and State Bank of Cross Plains realizes that and they’re doing something about it.”
State Bank of Cross Plains has worked with Banzai for six years, according to the release.
